Description
One of the supporting characters from my next book, The Dragon Rose. This is my very own Iapyx to snuggle. The model is Breyer's 2004 Andalusian model. I fell in love with the way it looked right around the same time I was finalizing the markings I wanted for Iapyx. Since the original was released in boring black, I opted for a cooler alternative.
I would like to point out that this is NOT MY PAINT JOB. It was painted by a guy called Clint Voris; Google him and you'll find his Breyer custom paint site. It is very rare, for us writers and artistic dreamers, to have something concrete of the characters that dance in our heads and across paper. How many of us would die to have a stuffed animal version, or a cool action figure of the character that can go where we we can't? I collect Breyers, so I was awesome to really see my sassy Iapyx in all his 3D glory. My brother took the picture; he's a photogropher by trade. I just wanted a chance to show off a kind of unique item that is my design brought to fruition by other hands.
