Servant of the Betrayer

And so the betrayer leaps and bays, through rivers of blood, to course the innocent in the willowy woods.

Part One of my "I'm-so-happy-I-have-Internet-I'm-going-to-pass-out-on-the-floor-from-giggling" celebration.

I rarely have those flashes of artistic insight where something appears vivid and perfect in my head. Most of what I imagine has to be coaxed out. (I still can't get my furdragons right.) I was actually in the middle of some watercolor exercises when I saw this. I was listening to Snow Patrol's album, and one of their more melancholy songs made me think of Fel. This is him from the 3rd book in my high fantasy series, so I suppose in some respects it's a spoiler.

But all in all, it's just an exercise in light and shadow, since that's my current obsession.
