A painting I did that I didn't like, but a friend told me I needed to post. Sometimes the best way to figure out what you want to do is by doing something you definitely don't. Bleh bleh, don't like much about this, and so on.

I like the basic forms and colors. I think you could improve a lot it simply by removing the texture from the background.
