Blackblood Alliance Cover

Um, this is just kind of something I did for Kay's Blackblood Alliance comic. This could be the cover! ... If Kay was feeling extremely charitable. Can we say craptacular? I clearly did this in the sketchbook that hates me. Colored pencil and marker. I do like Blood and Swift; they turned out okay. I should have done more colored pencil; it always turns out so much better than the marker. I was semi-pleased with the detail on Rip, Reich, and Rin. (Rin, inciidentally, was colored before Kay made that change to his hind leg markings. I'm just realizing that I didn't correct it just now.) And I gave a decent stab at the background. I was trying to go for rapier's head ot be kinda ghostly, but failed miserabley. I also drew the left side too close to the spirals in my sketchbook, and ended up having to crop too close, so it looks a lil lopsided. (Look out, Cold!) But anyway, I did it because I wanted a break from inking the graphics for my website, and because I am insanely jealous of Kay's art.
