Animaru: Most Loyal Samurai

A gift for , because she's been sick and she really made my birthday a good one. During our Animaru Koudoutai roleplay, she described her character Kemuri putting on his samurai armor so vividiy that I had to draw it. I saw it so well in my head. And yes, the animals in the roleplay fight with swords in their mouths, like Sora did from KH2 in the Lion King world.
The crow on his shoulder is my character Youbun, "gossip". I like his hat. Youbun is a spy and terribly rude, and takes great delight in sowing discord among the Sacred Lands.
Kemuri is actually a general for the Oni side of things, but he's a sleeper in the Imperial Palace. He's believed by the good side to be a very loyal soldier, when in actuality he's loyal to the great demon bear Banteki Kuro. (Who I hope to have a pic of up soon.)
I still don't like doing pencil in Photoshop, but this turned out pretty good. Mostly because of my painting skills, not because the pencil lines were any sort of clean. I dont have patience for cleaning up a lot of my pencil lines; if I do that I might as well ink. But I suffer for it. I want to get better at pencils in Photoshop, so any tips are appreciated.
